By Marie Page | November 3, 2008

ask-the-expertWe get emailed all the time from people asking questions about our DVDs, worship, playing and instruments. We’ve created two places on our blog to answer these questions in public so if you have a question please email info@musicademy.com.

Look at the Ask The Expert and Ask An FAQ categories on the Blog to see the archive.

I’ve been looking without success for a bulk worship songbook with bass guitar lines, they all seem to be piano/guitar

Any idea where I could find such a thing.

    Kind regards

    Colin

    Hi Colin

I’m afraid i’m not aware of a large songbook full of bass parts either. This is partly i suspect to do with commercial viability, partly to with the limited reading skills of many bassists and also the fact that a lot of worship songs don’t have definitive bass parts.

The closest to this we have are the Bass Song learners which as well as teaching you a great bass line to some of the more complex worship songs, give you some new techniques you can take away and apply to other tracks.

sorry not to be more help. does anyone else know of a big bass worship songbook?
