This link is to a blog that posts regularly on “Stuff Christians Like”. Its all pretty funny, some actually rather poignant. This post is an index of their first 500 posts - you’re bound to find something to amuse you.

Whilst this is a highly critical post to do with lyrics of contemporary worship songs, it does make some interesting points and some of the comments are worth a read.

And following from that here is a video clip from Brian MClaren (as in the writer on things postmodern but also a little known musician) discussing the thinking behind the lyrics and themes from songs he has written – songs of prayer, hope, doubt, struggle, celebration and worship.

Interesting post on worship wars documenting changes in American worship styles in the 1800s and onwards.
