Beautiful Christmas Images – free for use

By Guest Blogger | December 15, 2009

Our friends at Engage Worship have come up with some more wonderful free worship resources. These are a set of 10 “fractal” images suitable for adding some visual creativity to Christmas services.

Click through to Engage Worship, create an account and you can download all 10 images for free. They are created under a Creative Commons License so are made available on a non-commercial basis, and not for redistribution, or inclusion in any commercial products – all this is explained on the zip file.

Richard Lyall of craftycurate.blogs.com has not only made these images available for you to use but in another post (coming up tomorrow) he will explain how you can create similarly beautiful images yourself. Richard is a self-confessed creative geek. In a previous life he was an Anglican priest, and before that he worked in educational multimedia.

These photos are great and unlike most of what I’ve seen recently. Are they available without text so I can use them as backgrounds behind projected sermon notes?

    Hi Mark

Unfortunately they aren’t available without text at the moment.

I’d encourage you to have a go and create your own – see the related blog article – http://www.musicademy.com/2009/12/creating-fractal-images.

One of the comments on this article revealed there is a Mac version of Apophysis now too.

    Thanks
    Richard
