Gear confessional – guitars (by Ben Mizen)

 

Ben Mizen works for the Diocese of Portsmouth by day but by night is somewhat of a gear kleptomaniac. Ben was responsible for helping us put on the recent training day in Portsmouth and here he shares his list of all the guitars he’s owned since back in the day:

10 – 1999 – 2010 – Taylor 312ce – electro acoustic


11 – 2003 – 2005 – Fender Precision 5 String Bass

12 – 2005 – 2011 – Fender Squire Jazz 60s reissue 4 String Bass

13 – 2005 – current – Taylor 315 – acoustic retro fitted with a Fishman transducer

14 – 2008 – 2008 – Curbow fretless 4 String Bass

15 – 2008 – 2012 – Fender (Mexican) 1960s reissue Telecaster

16 – 2009 – current – Musicman Stingray 5 String Bass

17 – 2011 – 2014 – Godin A5 Acoustic 5 String Bass

18 – 2012 – current – Fender (US) Telecaster – customised with bareknuckle pickups

19 – 2013 – current – Musicman Sub 1 (US) – single humbucker

20 – 2014 – current – Musicman Stingray 4 String Bass
