We have over 7,000 fans on Facebook but recent changes by Facebook in their drive to increase advertising revenue mean that from this week only 1-2% of our fans will actually be shown our updates. Here’s the news article<\/a>\u00a0rep0rting it. Instead your newsfeed will become increasingly full of advertisements from companies you are not terribly interested in.<\/p>\n

What you need to do<\/h2>\n

It’s not enough any more simply to “Like” the Page, you need to do one more thing to make it clear to Facebook that you are keen to hear from us!<\/span><\/p>\n

All you need to do is go to https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Musicademy<\/a><\/p>\n

Click on the \u201cLiked\u201d button and select \u201cGet Notifications\u201d as well as the “Following” button. That”s it – you’ll now get timely notifications of our updates.\u00a0As you probably know, we work hard to make sure that our content is relevant and useful rather than full of spammy sales messages.<\/span><\/p>\n
