Our electric guitar song based lessons help you unpack a pro standard session guitar part taken from our Worship Backing Band MultiTrack recordings and integrate all the techniques and ideas into your playing to develop your musicianship.
The recording generally incorporates two, three or sometimes even four electric guitar layers, so for every song we show you each part or layer in detail so you can choose the most appropriate part to play live with your worship band regardless of how many guitarists you have.
Once you have learned the parts, we build all sections into a full-length play-through with all parts on screen simultaneously together with the backing track that you can play from beginning to end.
The difficulty level is highlighted within each lesson and broadly goes from Beginner-Plus to Intermediate-Plus. Most electric guitar parts are at the Intermediate to Intermediate-Plus level which means you’ll be able to play each part if you follow the lesson closely but will get much more out of the learning if you have a core understanding of our Intermediate Electric Guitar Course techniques such as CAGED chords, chord makeup and chord shapes in key, intervals, major and pentatonic scales, linear lines and double stops.
